How do I delete my mailbox?
If you no longer access the mailbox it will automatically delete itself off the system for inactivity.
How do I block another user?
While playing a message that was left in your mailbox, press 6, 3, then 1. Doing this will delete the message from your mailbox and block that mailbox from sending you any messages in the future.
How to I get back to the main menu or out of a certain area?
Pressing the “*” key will take you back to the previous menu.
The system is notifying me that I have new mail, but when I retrieve messages, they are the same messages I already had in my mailbox.
After listening to a message in your mailbox you must press 3 to save it or 6 to delete it, otherwise the system continues to recognize it as a new message.
Can I use a Calling Card to access the system?
Calling cards do not work with the system, but we do sell discounted blocks of time (ACME Credits) here in our office.
How do I pay by Mail?
If you wish to prepay for a block of time by
getting ACME Credits, you can mail checks or money orders to:

Be sure to include the phone number you dial to access your
mailbox as well as your mailbox number on the payment.
When are payments processed?
We process payments Monday thru Friday, the same day they are received.
How do I pay by Western Union?
To prepay for a
block of time (ACME Credits) by Western Union quick collect, you
must go to your nearest Western Union location and fill out the BLUE
Quick Collect payment form. In the box that is labeled "Pay To" you
will enter Origin Communications. The next box on the form is for
our code city, enter Origin, and the state is
NY
. Please fill out your name, address and telephone number. Down at the bottom there is a box that says "senders account number with company". You are to put the local number you dial to access the mailbox as well as your mailbox number, all on one line. Western Union will charge you $12.95 to use the Quick Collect Service. If your payment is $49.99 or more, you will receive an additional 8 minutes to help offset the quick collect fee. Western Unions are transmitted to the Origin office within one hour. Please allow an additional 30 minutes for our office to process the payment after we receive the form. Within 90 minutes of sending out the Western Union form you should receive the time in your mailbox.
When I purchase a block of time, how will it appear on my credit card bill?
It will appear on your bill under the single word "Acme"
When I purchase time through the 800 line how will it appear on my credit card bill?
I will appear as “Network Tel”.
Can I use a cordless phone or cell phone to access my box?
You can, but generally people have trouble with cordless phones and cell phones because the tones are shorter on these types of phones when pressing the buttons on the numeric keypad. Sometimes the system has trouble recognizing the tones. You can try it if you have no other
alternative. Just try holding down each button an extra second longer.

How is the time I purchased deducted?
In one minute increments.
Why does the system that refers the 900 number say $2.49 a minute but when I call it, it says the first minute is $4.98?
The 900 number is $2.49 a minute with a $2.49 connect fee for each call. Therefore, with the connect fee the call is $4.98 for the first minute.
